Through fishing trips, cleanups, and guided sightseeing tours, we invite children to step away from their screens and into adventures that foster environmental awareness, physical health, creativity, and personal growth.

Our Story
The Potomac Outdoor Discovery Society was born from a simple belief: too many children are growing up disconnected from the natural world. Colin Li and Derek Chang decided to change that — removing every barrier between a child and their next great outdoor adventure.
What started as a shared love of the outdoors has grown into a certified nonprofit changing lives throughout the Potomac region. Through their dedication to making the outdoors accessible, the entire team continues to change lives, one outdoor adventure at a time.
